PHOTOS: Disney Parks Look Like Ghost Towns Thanks to the Pandemic


It felt like it couldn't happen. The Magic Kingdoms and cruise ships closed down thanks to the coronavirus spreading globally. While the theme parks in Asia were the first to shutter, by March all locations and cruise ships in the United States had followed suit. 

The result? An eerie stillness hung over what were once some of the Happiest Places on Earth.

Some of the parks reopened with strict social distancing measures, only to close again when the pandemic worsened. Here's what they look like thanks to COVID-19
